Marketing the late teen shopper

There are some brands which seem to be marketed very strongly in the late teenage and younger adult arena but which are too some just ‘too cool’. Perhaps I am just too far outside their target market but my last visit to a Hollister store seemed to be worth mention. Hollister is a sister brand to Abercrombie & Fitch another incredibly popular premium brand with price tags to match. Brand loyalty is very strong for these brands and they are both riding a wave of popularity for expensive but cool casual wear modelled by celebrities and beautiful people. [Read more...]
